Be truthful

Use your real details, describe vehicles and journeys accurately, and never impersonate another person or advertise a journey you do not intend to make.

Be safe

No dangerous driving, harassment, threats, illegal substances, weapon intimidation, overcrowding or pressure to travel outside the published arrangement.

Respect privacy

Do not repost another member’s phone number, identity documents, private messages or trip details without a legitimate reason and permission.

Be reliable

Keep pickup times current, cancel as early as possible, record no-shows honestly and use RouteMate disputes instead of retaliatory ratings.

No unapproved commercial abuse

RouteMate journey-sharing must not be used to evade applicable passenger-transport, insurance or licensing requirements.
